Following the success of their Inaugural Release, this Aberargie Golden Promise is one of a pair of new whiskies produced to showcase the barley grown on their own farms in Perthshire. Matured in 68% 1st Fill Bourbon Casks & 32% 1st Fill Sherry Butts, we are excited to try this bottling that highlights the flavours of Golden Promise barley, and compare it to the Laureate release.
Official Tasting Notes: A bold whisky with notes of warm, buttery pastry, stewed apples enriched with brown sugar and baking spices that linger on the finish.
