Following the success of their Inaugural Release, this Aberargie Laureate is one of a pair of new whiskies produced to showcase the barley grown on their own farms in Perthshire. Matured in 32% 1st Fill Bourbon Casks and 68% 1st Fill Sherry Butts, we are excited to try this bottling that highlights the flavours of Laureate barley, and compare it to the Golden Promise release.
Official Tasting Notes: A vibrant whisky with notes of zesty candied orange peel and dried fruits, balanced with clean, crisp notes of ripe orchard fruits and a lasting honeyed finish.
