Bladnoch's history has been marked be several opening's and closings over the years and we were happy to see the stills and producing again in 2017. This release - part of a trio made for the reopening - bears a very fitting name for their new lease of life; Samsara being a term for the cycle of demise and rebirth to which everything in existence is bound. Though it has no age statement, the whisky is believed to be at least 8 years old, and is matured in a combination of Californian red wine and bourbon casks. Rich and creamy, with light grassy notes and fresh citrus, this is a great dram that started a new era of Bladnoch.
