Speyside distillery Dailuaine has long been the whisky blender's secret weapon; it's heavy, meaty spirit perfect for adding weight and structure to blended whisky.

This official Flora and Fauna bottling has been fully matured in sherry casks for over 16 years. This is a gem of a single malt that is still not as well known as it should be.

Tasting Notes

Staff Tasting Notes

Nose – Big sugary notes, with cocoa powder, bitter orange and boiled sweets. Lemon zest, pith and grapefruit follow, with a dash of nuttiness. An undertone of smokiness.

Palate – A meaty smokiness at first, with a syrupy rich mouthfeel. The meatiness gives way to some peaches, and sponge cake.
