Intense and ripe, but with a surprising freshness - vibrant notes of bramble, raspberry and cassis with a hint of violet florality give way to an undercurrent of burnt sugar, dark chocolate and a subtle balsamic edge - A dream pairing for blue stilton and walnuts.
In the production of Port, only years that produce exceptional fruit are declared as vintage years. In non-vintage years, Fonseca produces the Guimaraens Vintage using grapes from three of their very finest quintas in the Cima Corgo, Douro Valley.
This Port a blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo), Tinta Barroca, Tinta Cao and Tinta Amarela which are vinified and fortified seperately, then blended to emphasise the best qualities of the vintage. This blend was bottled and aged in the Fonseca Lodges at Vila Nova de Gaia for over a decade before release.

UK delivery is free on orders over £100. For international orders, delivery costs are calculated at checkout based on your destination.

Our prices include UK VAT where applicable. We also show the ex-VAT price alongside the main price, so our trade and export customers can easily see both.
