Glenmorangie 18 is one of those whiskies which has been around for decades, a reliable staple of the industry. It maintains the easy drinking approachability of the core release, but with a bit more depth and luxury.

'The Infinita' is the latest iteration created by Dr Bill Lumsden, Head of Whisky Creation for Glenmorangie and Ardbeg. Designed to capture the range of flavours present in Glenmorangie's warehouses, it is primarily matured in bourbon casks, with a portion of Oloroso matured spirit also used.

Official Tasting Notes

Nose – Honey, vanilla and chocolate, followed by fresher notes of pears, oranges and peaches. An apple and wood character can be found after some time.

Palate – Immediately richer, with lashings of dark chocolate and hazelnuts. A buttery texture with some spiciness and pepper. A hint of caramel with more citrus fruits appearing after a while. Reminded us of Turkish delights and fruit salad sweets. Dark chocolate with melons, grapefruit and watermelon on the finish. Final drops have notes of spice, blackcurrant and seasalt.
