Another great value grain release from the Thompson Bros. In the same vein as their 'An Edinburgh Dram', they have released this 34 year old Invergordon in honour of Ross-shire, the now abolished county that the Thompson Bros call home. As with the other bottlings in this series, the label features a vintage map of the area.

Tasting Notes

Official Tasting Notes

Nose – Fresh white blossoms and quince, followed by oak chips, white chocolate, and hints of tinned pineapple and baked apple. Some hessian notes develop, joined by a touch of Orkney fudge

Palate – Crème caramel leads the way, and then fruit salad, heavy on the melon and mango, with demerara sugar and soft vanilla sponge in the background

Finish – Lingering notes of Cointreau and vanilla bring a smooth, indulgent close
