The second bottling in Laphroaig's experimental series, Elements 2.0 showcases the effects of extended fermentation on the Islay whisky. This small batch release saw a fermentation period of 115 hours, more than double the distillery's standard 55 hours.
This change saw a significant increase in tropical fruit notes, whilst maintaining the signature peat smoke one would expect.
