A single cask, split in two and re-racked in two very special and different finishing casks. The spirit began maturation in a single refill bourbon hogshead where it laid for the majority of its aging process. Once split, half the spirit went into an ex-Barbados rum cask, and the other into an ex-Rivesaltes fortified wine cask. This bottling is the Barbados rum finish and is spectaclarly rich and peppery.
Blind Summit describe these bottlings as "one of the most significant things we have produced". They are a very special project of love and passion for the spirit. They are perfect for comparison, but are strong enough to hold up solo.
