This Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage Brut 2016 Champagne from Reims, Champagne region, France and matured for 3 years is a World bestseller. Classic in style and medium bodied, from 23% Pinot Meunier, 37% Pinot Noir balanced with 40% Chardonnay. AKA 'Serenity after Storm', this vintage marks a difficult growing year reflecting the region's traditional unpredictability with a very wet Winter followed by a rainy Spring. Rising to these challenges the remaining grapes ripened well and produced this triumph in a glass. Grand Vintage was previously known as 'Millesime Blanc', and 'Brut Imperial Vintage'.

Appearance – Slightly golden yellow with vibrant green reflections.

Nose – Initial fleeting aromas are brown and dry: toasted bread, grains and hazelnut. The secondary aromas are softer: gingerbread, marzipan, barley sugar. Finally, the most persistent background notes are fruity and floral: plum, mirabelle, quince, orange blossom and aniseed.

Palate – A serene and round.

Finish – Sensations enfold effortlessly, akin to a fading scene in a movie or a gentle wave rolling over smooth sand before softly retreating. The initial round, supple attack effortlessly transitions into a structured core-like sensation, culminating in a finish reminiscent of the sweet, tangy freshness of a clementine or pomelo.
