A peated companion to the 19yo FF Bourbon release, from the same unnamed Highland distillery. Our only clue is that it is 15.8 miles from Inverness, and 57.3 miles from Dornoch. The spirit was matured over 18 years in a selection of ex-Oloroso sherry casks, producing an oily, fruity flavour.

Nose – Burnt caramel, lime oils, bread and butter pudding, dark chocolate crunchie, a recently smothered bonfire!

Palate – Fruit cake, dried papaya, charcoal, pipe tobacco and winter spice, soft tannins (black tea)

Finish – Earthy peat lingers, sweetness returns, wet sugary shredded wheat, a gentle cellar-esque funk
