Aged in American oak, ex Tequila casks for 18 months, this sugar cane juice rum has bright funky notes but rich toffee and spice characters. They source the sugar cane from Huautepec in the region of Oaxaca, specifically the valleys of the Sierra Mazateca mountain range, the juice is wild fermented in pine vats and distilled using a six copper plate column still.
