The 'black label' of this popular Italian brandy is produced from Trebbiano grapes using both pot still and column still distillation. The spirit is matured for at least a year in two types of wood; smaller active French oak barriques and large mellow Slovenian Oak casks. Finally, the brandy is blended and left to marry for three months before bottling.

Official Tasting Notes
Characterised by a beautiful luminous coppery antique gold colour. NOSE: Hints of tropical fruit, such as papaya and pineapple, blend with vanilla, cinnamon and cloves. Vanilla and crisp notes are combined with caramelised baked pear in a mix of refined flavours. PALATE: Smooth, complex and rounded with hints of sweet spices, such as vanilla and cinnamon, in addition to strong notes of clove. A lingering aftertaste.
