Tasting Notes
Staff Tasting Notes
Nose – Barely noticeable peat notes, subtle oakiness and dried raisins, apricots and dates accompanied by lime and barley sugar. With time, maltiness and a powerful candied Mackintosh apple note.
Palate – Quick burst of smoke, which gives way to fizzy, citrusy notes. A heavier spirit than expected, with barley sugar, honey, green pear and star fruits balancing the oiliness.
