The finale in the Ardbeg Anthology Series, Ardbeg 15 Year Old Beither's Tale is wholly matured in designer bourbon casks. These casks have been air seasoned, heavily toasted and then lightly charred to their exact specifications before being filled with Ardbeg's world renowned, heavily peated malt spirit for 15 years full maturation.

Each of the Ardbeg Anthology Series tells a story and they intertwined this story with an intriguing, limited release. The Beither's Tale tells the story of Ardbeg Committee Chair Jackie discovering a serpent beast in the distillery warehouses trying to steal casks of Ardbeg! We don't necessarily blame them...

With Each Online Purchase you get two Ardbeg Tumblers too! (While stocks last)

Tasting Notes

Official Tasting Notes

Nose – Pungent, oily and spicy, rich notes of treacle wrap around creosote and smoked herbs. Toasted apples and raisins reveal a sweeter underbelly. With water, eucalyptus and menthol burst forth as fennel and pine trail behind.

Palate – Astoundingly balanced, a sizzling mouthfeel leads into peat smoke, coffee grits and currants. Sweet lemon balsam entwines with smoked mandarins, followed by a sharp, smoky tang.

Finish – Finally, a long, meandering finish brings with it subtle hints of vanilla and smoked butter.
