Askeim 8 Year Old GP Triple Distilled is a distinctive release from Sweden’s innovative Smögen distillery, showcasing a bold yet refined approach to modern single malt production. Bottled at a natural cask strength of 57.2%, this expression delivers both intensity and elegance in equal measure.

Crafted using Golden Promise barley, a heritage variety prized for its rich, characterful profile, this whisky revives a style once common in traditional distilling. The spirit undergoes triple distillation, resulting in a notably smooth and concentrated distillate with remarkable clarity.

Matured for eight years in small 50 litre sherry quarter casks, the whisky develops a deep and complex profile, where the influence of active wood is beautifully integrated with the naturally weighty spirit.
