Distilled and matured entirely on Sweden’s west coast, Smögen display an uncompromising small-scale approach to whisky making. Produced in extremely limited quantities, Smögen’s spirit is crafted from heavily peated malt, delivering a bold and distinctive character.
This particular release spent the final two years of its maturation in casks that previously held Tawny Port, adding an extra layer of richness and sweetness to the whisky’s naturally smoky profile. The result is a harmonious balance between peat, fruit, and oak influence.
