A distillery release of the 25 year old Balblair. Matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks and then re-shaped in Spanish oak casks, which turn it into a lovely copper colour.
Balblair Distillery has been releasing exceptional quality spirit since 1790, when the distillery officially opened (though they were likely already distilling before then). They are famous for their long fermentation of 62 hours and the 4 ½ hour distillation.
