Founded by John Macdonald in 1827, Ben Nevis distillery is at the foot of Ben Nevis. When John founded it, he said that the abundance of good water, barley and peat were what made his whisky so good. There might not be as much peat in this dram as back in his day, but it is still a cracking, full bodied whisky.

Nose – Abundance of character on the nose with floral, fragrant, honey, citrus fruits of orange and beeswax with elements of toffee and vanilla aroma.

Palate – Initial spicy notes lead to energy cereal flavours. Tropical fruit notes on the mid palate. Smooth creaminess invites you to sample another drop.
