We have been big fans of Ben Nevis distillery for a good long while. A distillery with a distinctive, fruity and funky spirit style that Rare Find independent bottlers want to highlight with this release, a 12 year old single cask Ben Nevis, finished in first fill oloroso sherry casks, which add rich warming spice to this fruity dram. This quarter cask produced 167 bottles.

Official Tasting Notes

Nose – Bright, leafy sherry with ripe hedgerow berries, plump sultanas, shortbread, buttery popcorn and bourbon biscuits.

Palate – Rich, oily and mouth-coating, unfolding with chocolate digestives, red and black berries, butterscotch and building cinnamon and pepper spice.

Finish – Long and lingering with ripe berry fruit and dark chocolate.
