This beautifully structured and elegant rose from Bollinger is an assemblage of 62% Pinot Noir, 24% Chardonnay and 14% Meunier grapes, over 85% of which come from Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards. 5 to 6% of Pinot Noir grapes constituting the Champagne are vinified as red wine, which gives the wine its unique depth. Moderate dosage, between 7-8g/l, helps to balance this non-vintage Champagne, as does a portion of reserve wine, that turns this non-vintage wine into a classic companion to a cheerful afternoon tea.
Food Pairing
Best served between 10 and 12°C. Pairs well with a plethora of foods. Lobster, salmon and Asian cuisine with minimal spice along with fruit based desserts: fruit soup, strawberry tart, and raspberries.
