Malt whisky from a single Campbeltown distillery, with a teaspoon of another malt in the mix. Matured purely in a single refill hogshead, allowing the spirit style to come to the fore. One of 303 bottles.

Many distilleries want to protect their distillery name, and not have their distillery name used outside of their official releases. So what they will do is add a small amount (a teaspoons worth) of another malt, making it a blended malt, also in these cases known as a teaspooned malt.

Tasting Notes

Official Tasting Notes

Nose – The nose is rich and inviting, earthy and moist, with the comforting aroma of freshly baked brioche and sweet hay. Notes of stewed apple and golden honey add balancing sweetness.

Palate – The palate is layered and intriguing, with dry, wispy smoke weaving through earthy tones and subtle liquorice. Oily richness coats the mouth, complemented by the comforting sweetness of malt cake.

Finish – Persistent with crisp green apples lingering alongside the warm, comforting sweetness of malty biscuits. Subtle hints of spice and gentle with integrated oak adding depth.
