Part of the Winter 2025 outturn from Leith indie bottlers Blind Summit; established and run by friends (and RMW alumni!), Jamie and James. Every Blind Summit release is non-chill filtered, natural colour and presented with original artwork from local artists.
Official Tasting Notes:
A rich, smoky Islay malt layered with sweetness from American oak. Finished in a First Fill Woodford Reserve Bourbon Barrel, in the 14th tier of the warehouse for added weight and depth of flavour.
Nose: Maritime smoke, toasted oak, maple bacon and vanilla cream.
Palate: Charred lemon, brine and soft peat balanced by toffee, citrus and gentle spice.
