A 1972 Connoisseurs Choice bottling of whisky from the Coleburn distillery by one of our all time favourite independent bottlers Gordon and Macphail. This whisky expresses the long-gone distillery character of the closed Speyside distillery Coleburn and the bottling was released around the time of the closure in the mid 80s. There are plans to reopen the dormant Distillery in Scotland’s Speyside, with former Benromach master distiller Keith Cruickshank heading up the project. Bought from a private collection.
