The team at Decadent Drinks don't normally dabble in blends, but were inspired by a small parcel of low strength North of Scotland single grain whisky from 1973. They married this grain with a sherried blended malt, along with a couple of Speyside single malts, both peated and un-peated. They then allowed the entire lot to rest for a year in a refill sherry hogshead. A terrific concoction created in honour of industry great, Charlie MacLean.
