A rich tea-spooned* malt, there's no prizes for guessing which famous distillery this Speyside dram was sourced from. Selected by indie bottler Murray McDavid, this malt aged for over 28 years, the final 6 of which were spent in first fill Pedro Ximenez sherry barriques. One of 510 bottles.
*Many distilleries want to protect their distillery name, and not have this used outside of official releases. So what they do is add a teaspoon measure of another malt to the cask, technically making it a blended malt. Colloquially it is also known as a tea-spooned malt.
