Distilled in 1990 and matured for 35 years, this rare Frapin Cognac has been selected and bottled from a single barrique by Berry Bros. & Rudd at 44% ABV.
Produced by the historic Frapin house in the Grande Champagne region of Cognac, this long aged release combines impressive maturity with a naturally elegant strength. Expect layers of orchard and stone fruit, caramelised apple and orange peel, joined by vanilla, warming spice and polished oak.
The palate should offer a rich yet refined balance of fruit, sweetness and mature wood, leading into a lingering finish of baked apple, nutmeg and gentle spice.
