This bottling of Glenrothes single malt whisky is a vatting of whisky distilled in 1989. At this time, the brand was under the ownership of Berry Brothers & Rudd. The new make spirit was checked by J. L. Stevens on the 8th October 1989, and the casks from this vintage were approved for bottling by R. H. Fenwick on the 26th February 2000. Once approved, casks from this vintage were blended and the blend diluted, before returning to old, inactive casks to "marry" and stabilise until 2003 when the whisky was bottled.
This bottling comes with a metal plinth which is engraved with Glenrothes' branding.
The label and packaging are in good condition. The fill level is slightly low.
