The distillery of Kinclaith was a single malt facility within the grain complex of Strathclyde. It functioned for less than 20 years, closing in 1975, and as single malt wasn’t particularly popular, bottlings were non-existent until independents started bottling some long after closure. This example was released in 2004 as part of a run of just 207 bottles of 1969 Distillate. The cask number was 301455 and it was bottled with no chillfiltration at cask strength.
This old fill levels of the bottle and miniature are good, but note that the labels do have a little peeling, there are some very small scratches on the box and the scroll is a little wrinkled. The incongruous branded shot glass is in perfect condition however!
