Ladyburn 1973 27-Year-Old Single Cask #1591 is a rare Lowland single malt Scotch whisky. William Grant & Sons distilled it in 1973 and bottled in 2000 at it's natural cask strength of 50.4%ABV. This 70cl bottle comes from a closed distillery which was built in 1966 inside the Girvan grain complex by William Grant & Sons. Ladyburn operated for a very short time and was mothballed in 1975. It's short life span has made it's few remaining single-cask bottles rare and valuable to collectors and whisky enthusiasts. Bought from a private collection. Nose – A perfect balance of delicate fragrant honey with a suggestion of oak.

Palate – Initially, beautifully soft on the palate, a mellow rounded malt hinting at sweet and vanilla notes.

Finish – Classic dry oak.
