Lochlea is located in the heart of Ayrshire; a farm distillery who grow all the barley used in their whisky production. We at RMW are huge fans of this barley to bottle approach, which is all too rare in the modern whisky scene.
The Our Barley Edition is their ongoing core expression, crafted by John Campbell, who joined Lochlea from Laphroaig distillery. A combination of Bourbon casks, Sherry casks and STR casks, creating a dram with spice and complexity.
