Chita grain whiskies have traditionally been used as the 'dashi' or broth (the liquid the ties it all together) in many of the most famous Japanese blends, especially those from Suntory. However, you can now try this complex and fresh whisky in its own right. It has been matured in a combination of Amercian oak, ex-sherry and ex-wine casks to add a complex a full character.

Staff Tasting Notes

Nose – Spiced, dried fruits. Apiricots and cloves.

Palate – Dried fruits and mellow honey.

Nose – Creme Brulee, cardamon, acacia, honey, blossoming rose.

Palate – Mild and smooth, hint of mint, deep honey.

Finish – Clean and clear, spiced oak with subtle bittersweet notes.
