Nikka's reserves of malt and grain whiskies are scoured to find the right combination of casks to create this whisky's profile. The whiskies from separate barrels are blended and allowed to marry for 3-6 months in a larger vessel. The individual flavours of each cask combine to create a full-bodied, powerful and complex whisky. Fruity and floral on the nose while filling out with toffee, oak and spices on the palate. A great value bottling.
