Tasting Notes
The relatively gentle influence of the refill cask allows Tomatin's naturally fruity character to shine, with plenty of ripe orchard and tropical fruit balanced by soft sweetness and delicate oak.
The nose brings juicy peach and mango alongside raspberry, golden syrup and marzipan. On the palate, peach and apricot are joined by dried mango, creamy milk chocolate, vanilla syrup and almond butter, creating a rich but well balanced combination of fruit and sweetness.
The finish is gently honeyed, with aromatic notes of bergamot, oolong tea and soft sandalwood lingering alongside the fruit.
