Tullamore Dew is one of the oldest Irish whiskey brands, with original brand going back to the 1820's. Tullamore Dew is currently made at the Jameson Distillery down in Midleton, but William Grant (Tullamore's new owners) have just built a new distillery in Tullamore, which will be the first time in 60 years whiskey has been made there (the old distillery closed in 1954). Being a triple distilled mixture of pot still, single malt and grain whiskey, it is lovely and fruity.

Official Tasting Notes

Nose – Green apple and vanilla on the nose. A lovely freshness.

Palate – Light spice mixed in with fresh fruit, toasted wood and a creamy vanilla sweetness. The finish is quite butter, with vanilla fudge and marzipan.
