The Worthy Park estate in Jamaica, despite being founded in 1670, has only produced rum intermittently throughout most of its existence. This all changed in 2005 after the estate obtained a state of the art distillery with a single Forsyth's copper pot still. Since then, Worthy Park have carved their own place in Jamaican pot still rum fame, impressing many rum fans with independently bottled rums. This Single Estate Reseve is their first official bottling and contains rums 100% distilled, aged, blended, and bottled on the estate.

Tasting Notes

Official Tasting Notes

A natural, light amber color; the nose is punchy with upfront aromas of light tobacco and toasted oak with spicy fruit– raisins and plums. With time light notes of vanilla become evident. On the mouth luscious and tropical fruits with a soft, butteryand almost creamy texture. Dry a slightly bitter, soft tannins are rounded out by toasted oak and nutmeg. A hint of black pepper finished off with a touch of ginger as it lingers with it’s soft, dry finish.
