When our friends at Woven Whisky married a nutty, grain heavy Knockando with an older grain whisky from Girvan, this inspired blend began to take shape. It was rounded out with Tullabardine from a burgundy cask as well as some choice Scottish grain whiskies, before racking in two different marrying casks, a re-fill sherry butt, and a hogshead that previously held peated whisky. The final product is a marriage of those two casks, which takes elements from all it's components and unifies them into a complex flavour composition that is greater than the sum of it's parts.
