A 73(!) year old Amontillado sherry from Bodega Toro Albalá, produced in 1951 and bottled in 2026 by Decadent Drinks.
The wine spent its very long maturation in a single American oak butt - 'statically' aged, as opposed to being part of a solera system. This sherry is gorgeously intense and complex, we could quite happily sit and nose this for hours.
