8 year Old Espadin agave, milled in Tahona stone mill, cooked over 3 types of wood - ocote, red oak, and pepper tree - giving complex smoky notes. Distilled in copper pot stills, with the spirit showing peach fruity notes alongside some grassy herbal notes and the smoke. Mezcal Verde is a craft Mezcal distillery in Tlacolula, Oaxaca. They opened in 2017 with the aim of producing excellent small batch Mezcal with traditional methods.
