This famous bourbon is named after Colonel Albert Blanton, who would often select and bottle single barrels from Warehouse H at Ancient Age Distillery (now called Buffalo Trace) with his apprentice Elmer T Lee. When Elmer came up with the idea to make these available commercially in 1984, it was arguably the first single barrel bourbon on the market.
The Original is their mainstay release, still bottled from single barrels selected from Warehouse H. The iconic bottle and stopper can be seen in top venues around the world, as well as several films and tv shows.
Please note that due to the fragile wax seal and stopper, any orders placed for this item for courier shipping are placed at your own risk.
