Staff Tasting Notes

Nose – Definitely new make spirit but a lot more bready/yeasty than ususal. A great aroma of singed popcorn and creme fraiche. Fear not though, there are still plenty of more typical notes with pear drops, light pineapple and banana bread all making an appearance. Over time it generates more varnished notes like a good grappa.

Palate – All the high alcohol sweetness that you would expect from a new make. Sweetcorn, coconut cream and fresh bread (dough).
