Glen Elgin 11 Year Old from Blind Summit is a distinctive Speyside single malt whisky shaped by maturation in a Napa Chardonnay barrique. Bottled at 56.7% ABV, it brings together mature malt character with the bright fruit and creamy texture associated with Chardonnay casks.
Expect layers of orchard fruit, ripe peach and citrus alongside vanilla, sweet malt and gentle oak spice. The wine cask influence adds richness and texture without losing the fresh, elegant character at the heart of the whisky.
The generous bottling strength delivers plenty of concentration and flavour. Enjoy it neat to experience its full intensity, then add a small amount of water to reveal more fruit, sweetness and cask character.
