The 2nd bottling from the Glen Wyvis distillery, near to Dingwall in the north of Scotland. Matured for 3 years in their onsite dunnage warehouse. A combination of 60% First Fill Tennessee Whiskey Casks, 25% First Fill Oloroso Casks and 15% refill Scotch Whisky Casks. 1 of 8000 bottles, it has complex sweetness from the Tennessee Whiskey Casks, rich fruit from the First Fill Oloroso Casks and fragrant, spicy notes from the Scotch Whisky Casks.

Tasting Notes

Staff Tasting Notes

Nose – Barley, stewed pears, preserved lemons and a hint of custard. After a while, oranges, strawberries and apples emerge.

Palate – Pear drop sweets and golden syrup. Bright, grassy texture with a hint of barley.

Finish – Elegantly floral with zesty lemon rind. Long finish of vanilla ice cream, after water is added more lemons, elderflower and ultimately caramel ice cream.
