Distilled at Glencadam in 2011, this 14 year old Highland single malt Scotch whisky has been finished in a Muscat wine cask before being selected and bottled by Berry Bros. & Rudd at 57.8% ABV.
The Muscat finish adds a bright, fruit led dimension to Glencadam’s characteristically elegant spirit. Expect the distillery’s fresh malt and orchard fruit style to be joined by notes of ripe grapes, floral sweetness, honeyed fruit and warming spice.
Bottled at a powerful strength, this independently bottled Glencadam offers plenty of concentration and character. It can be enjoyed neat for its full intensity, while a small amount of water may reveal further layers of fruit, sweetness and cask influence.
