Hazelburn is the triple-distilled, unpeated spirit from Springbank distillery. The 10yo is the core release in this range, fully matured in bourbon casks and bottled with natural colour and unchillfiltered.

This malt sometimes gets lost against the acclaim of Springbank and Longrow releases, but we find it a consistently fantastic dram full of zesty character.

Official Tasting Notes

Nose – Sweet and tropical on the nose, notes of baked pineapple, lemon sherbet, honeycomb and dried orange peel introduce this delicate dram.

Palate – Sweet and savoury notes come together on the palate, with notes of green apples complemented by a slight vegetal note. There is a creaminess present in notes of pastel de nata and custard creams.

Finish – There is a subtle earthiness in the nish, along with hints of salted caramel, ginger, toasted coconut and a mineral note.
