An interesting lowland single malt that was distilled in 1979 and bottled by renowned independent bottler Gordon & Macphail in the early 1990s. Inverleven was initially built as part of Glasgow's Dumbarton Grain and Malt Distilling complex in 1938, but was decommisioned in 1991 and it's buildings demolished shortly after.
While it's safe to say that we'll never see Inverleven whisky again, the stills from the distillery live on. The spirit and wash stills can now be found at Waterford Distillery in Ireland, and the lomond still is now distilling gin on Islay.
Bottles have relatively low fill levels.
