We are extremely excited to share this RMW Exclusive with you, the first ever Lagg single cask bottling outside of the Isle of Arran.
This first fill bourbon barrel was selected by our Purchasing team as it perfectly encapsulates the house style of the young south Arran distillery. The herbal, smoky spirit combines beautifully with citrus and stone fruits flavours from the wood; it is easy to see why over 95% of Lagg stock is matured in bourbon casks. Bottled at natural cask strength, everything is brought together with a full oily texture, perfectly showcasing the sweet peat character. Matured for 5 years and 10 months, only 251 bottles have been produced.
