Lindisfarne is a tidal island just off of the north coast of England. Historically this holy island has produced Mead for centuries, though the current recipe has been around since the revival of production in the early 20th century. Staying true to the Roman production methods that were in use on the Island, Lindisfarne adds fermented grape juice to the mead. They also add a small amount of neutral spirit before bottling.
