From the Isle of Mull comes this 18 year old peated single malt, which has matured in American oak hogsheads. It was bottled by Livingstone who, along with Elixir Distillers, has presented it as part of their Macbeth Collection. Each bottling features original artwork by acclaimed illustrator Sir Quentin Blake and character notes penned by famed whisky writer Dave Broom. A limited release of 2100 bottles.
Official Character Notes Pallid, with a reek of wood smoke and tallow candles. Salt sweat on the brow. Lean shanked, yet muscular. Downtrodden, dismissed and angry; a denizen of the darkest taverns. For a few coins, as night falls, a throat will feel its bite, a child will die; money runs thicker than blood.
