Sheep Dip, the affectionate name some farmers have given to whisky in the past, is a mixture of different single malts between the ages of 8 and 16 years. Originally, all whisky distillers would have been farmers, so it makes sense to have a bottle that marks this link.

Tasting Notes

Staff Tasting Notes

Nose – Slightly leathery, fudge and vanilla.

Palate – Milk chocolate, slightly sweet and more leather notes return.

Finish – Long, very pleasant. A sweet and smooth finish overall.

Official Tasting Notes

Nose – Floral to begin with, followed by pear, orange, a hint of melon and a note of almond.

Palate – Maltiness, followed by honey, vanilla, Christmas cake notes and a firm oakiness.
